Friends of The Music at St Mary Redcliffe

WELCOME to the website of the Friends of Music at St Mary Redcliffe. The Friends exists to promote music making within the church of St Mary Redcliffe in Bristol. It helps to support the weekly choral services, the weekly organ recitals, other occasional concerts, recitals and recordings, and the annual music festival. It also helps to fund vocal training for choristers and choral and organ scholarships for students. A prayer for the Friends of the Music at St Mary Redcliffe

HEAVENLY Father, source of all beauty and harmony: We give thee thanks for the gift of music which lifts our hearts and enlightens our worship. Bless, we pray thee, the work of the Friends of the Music; May their support bring new delights to our service and new joy to our lives, so that, lost in love and wonder, we may come at last to that place where angels and archangels and all the choirs of heaven sing thy praise for evermore; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
